TERMS OF USE
For My Art
Look, don't touch. Really. They are all gifts to others so far. No making icons, bases, anything else...don't display it on your site. Look all you want, but, yeah....that's it. At some point, i may make some icons or wallpapers...but don't use my existing images to make your own.
Palettes
Credit would be nice but-I do not require credit for my palettes Again, i say to you...it would be nice. :p You may lift my palettes off my dolls without permission...but then, you CANNOT forbid people to lift the colors off the doll you created or post the palette as your own with 500 regulations on its use. A link back on your link page would be peachy keen...
Bases
You can edit however you want, just don't redistribute your edits. You may crop for avatars. Give credit where credit is due with a link. You may not use my bases to make money. You know the drill.
For My Pixels
All dolls may be adopted except where indicated by "not adoptable"
in return for a link back to my site.
You MAY NOT display my dolls on any web page that is not part of an adoption page ...such as gift pages, deviant art pages, MSN Photo Albums, Yahoo Groups, etc.
You may not use my dolls in a web layout.
You may also use my adoptable dolls AS THEY ARE for signatures as long as your signature gives me credit and links back to my site.
You must save the doll to your own web server...direct linking to my images is bandwidth theft!)
Do NOT Modify my dolls in any manner. This includes but is not limited to offering to make custom signatures (adding text), live journal icons, RPG or other gaming characters, and frankendolling.
What is frakendolling?
Frankendolling is a term when others take pieces of a person's doll, copy
it, and either enlarge, shrink, or alter it, recolor it and say
they made the doll themselves. Another example is staring at the doll and
copying the doll pixel by pixel (or near close). For more information on
Dolling Ettiquette, please visit Doll Nettiquette at
http://www.dollzofflavor.com/DN.html
Now, it is OK to look and study another dollers shading technique per say to
learn...but using/copying that doll to recreate your own is a no-no.
If you see someone Frankendolling my work, please e-mail me: mzehner at charter dot net.
Thank you!
